Les articles du Medical Department sont référencés avec un numéro d'Item et non de Stock, à 5 ou 7 chiffres. Le premier chiffre indique la classe de l'article, les quatre suivants le numéro de l'ordre d'achat. A partir de juin 1944 deux chiffres sont rajoutés permettant d'identifier une variante de l'article. S'il n'y en a pas de variante ces deux chiffres sont des 0. A partir de 1947 les trois groupe de chiffres sont séparés par un tiret.

The right pouch contents : 1 Carton Medium Safety Pins, 1 Bandage Scissors, 1 Metal Container No.1 with 6 Iodine Swabs, 1 Burn-Injury Set, 1 Adhesive Surgical Plaster, 3 Triangular Compressed White Bandages, 1 Adhesive White Gauze Bandage with 16 Stickbands, 1 Eye Dressing Set and 1 Field Tourniquet.

Musette utilisée par les infirmiers sur le terrain. Elles sont portées par paire, sur chaque côté des hanches, suspendues au brelage spécifique au Medical Department.

La musette de gauche contient : 8 boites Dressing, First-Aid, 1 carnet de 20 fiches cartonnées détachables munies d'une cordelette pour signaler l'état du blessé (Emergency Medical Tags), 1 crayon, 2 sangles pour le transport du brancard.

La musette de droite contient : 1 garrot, du sparadrap, des épingles à nourrice, 1 paire de ciseaux, 1 nécessaire pour les soins oculaires, 1 nécessaire pour les brûlures, 1 applicateur de teinture d'iode, 6 badigeons de teinture d'iode, des boites de bandages.

Elles sont de couleur rouge avant juin 1943 et verte après juin 1943 et contiennent un tampon de gaze, une bande en toile de fixation d'environ 80cm, deux épingles de sûreté et suivant le modèle, une pochette de 5g de sulfamide. Une mention le spécifiant apparaît alors au dos de la boite "WITH CRYSTALLINE SULFANILAMIDE".
